The National Monuments Service's description

On a steep E-facing slope, the remains of the W cross survive 9m W of St Peakaun's church (TS075-023001-). In the 1940s the OPW erected a platform for the cross with steps leading up to it. The broken lower shaft (max. H 0.7m; Wth 0.29m; T 0.21m) formerly sat in a rectangular stone base (dims. 0.87m x 0.7m; H 0.33m) (Waddell and Holland 1990, 179). A second piece of the shaft (max. H 0.79m; Wth 0.26m; T 0.21m) was uncovered giving a total length of 1.32m (ibid). Faint lines on the pitted W face may represent a cross pattern (ibid.).
