The National Monuments Service's description
Roughly mid-way along the summit of a limestone ridge running roughly E-W. The ground slopes gently to the N, and is level on the other three sides, in rough pasture in an area of limestone outcrop. A small grass-covered oval mound (dims. 8.8m N-S; 11.2m E-W; H 0.4m in S quadrant and 1.11m in E quadrant), with a flat surface (dims. 4.4m N-S; 3.7m E-W). Stones protrude from the top of the mound and at the edge in the NW and WNW.
