The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on a steep NW-facing slope on foothills of Carrickabrock. Excellent views W-N-ENE. D-shaped area (dims. 20m N-S; 24m E-W) defined by curvilinear earthen scarp (Wth 3.6m; H 0.75m) W-N-E and relatively straight earthen bank (int. H 1.15m; ext. H 0.8m; Wth 8.8m) with large stones resembling coursing, on top at E-end. Causewayed entrance (Wth 2.2m) at SSW. Remains of fosse (Wth 5.75m; D 0.35m) traceable SSW-WNW and level terrace (Wth 4m) exists WNW-NNE. Interior slopes down gently to NW and is covered by vegetation to E. Depicted as a sub-circular enclosure on 1st (1840) ed. OS 6-inch map, with field boundaries at a tangent to NW and NE; boundaries now removed.
