The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on top of a level area of gently undulating land. Wide sweeping arc of level plateau (dims. c. 70m N-S) SW-N-NE appears natural, yet defined by remains of possible levelled, man-made scarp (Wth c. 5m; H c. 0.5m) surviving NNW-NE. Linear depression (long-axis c. N-S) forms E-side and may be a natural feature for run-off. Land falls sharply to flood plain of River Suir to S. Depicted on 1st ed. OS 6-inch map as large irregular shaped feature and on latest ed. As a curving scarp of the NW quad. (chord c. 77m NE-SW). Church (TS068-098----) and graveyard (TS068-098001-) are located c. 80m to W and standing stone possible (TS068-100----) c. 310m to SW.
