The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on a S-facing slope, overlooking rough pasture to the S. Identified during field survey by Alison McQueen and Vera Rahilly (5 December 2008). A roughly circular area (dims. 4.2m N-S; 3.5m E-W) defined by a shallow fosse (Wth 2m; D 0.18m) best defined NNW-E-SW. The interior is 0.13m lower than the external ground level and tilts slightly downwards to S with the prevalent slope. There is a field boundary c. 8m to the NW.
