The National Monuments Service's description

In improved pasture, on gently sloping area of SSE-facing slope. Circular area (dims. 5.5m N-S; 6m E-W) defined by conspicuous fosse (Wth 2.2m; D 0.15m) highlighted by wild iris NNE-E. Interior slopes down gently to SSE and is same height as exterior ground level. Field boundary (long-axis WSW-ENE) c. 10m to S. Identified as a ring-ditch on aerial photograph (OS 2436/7 mono).
