The National Monuments Service's description

In improved pasture, on a level area of low rise, abutting a ditch barrow (TS066-097----) to the WSW. Identified during ASI fieldwork and visible on an aerial photograph (OS 2436/7). A sub-circular area (dims. 3.8m NNW-SSE; 4m ENE-WSW) defined by a conspicuous fosse (Wth 2.4m; D 0.15m) ENE-WSW. The monument is truncated by the linear scar of a former field boundary running ENE-WSW across the N sector of which there is no visible trace at ground level.
