The National Monuments Service's description

In improved pasture, on a N-facing slope, slightly undulating with former water channels. Identified on aerial photograph (Ordnance Survey 2434/5). Circular area (dims. 5.6m N-S; 4.75m E-W) defined by fosse (Wth 1.85-1.9m; D 0.1-0.15m) and possible outer bank (Wth 2.85m; int. H 0.1m; ext. H 0.12m) N-E is best preserved at NE. Interior is grass covered and has a gentle N-facing slope.
