The National Monuments Service's description
In improved, level pasture. A circular area (dims. 26m N-S; 25m E-W) defined by a bank (Wth at top 1.1m; overall Wth 4.5m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.85m) and fosse (basal Wth 2.5m; overall Wth 5.5m; D 0.75m). The bank is reduced to scarp (Wth 2.2m; H 0.6m) at W and NW where cattle gaps (Wth 3m at W; Wth 3.5m at NW) exist. There is a causewayed entrance (Wth 5.5m) at ESE. A field boundary running NE-SW extends across the fosse at NW and a field boundary running ESE-WNW extends from the exterior of the fosse at NE. The interior is dish-shaped and level within.
