The National Monuments Service's description

On fairly level ground in undulating hilly terrain, under pasture. Roughly circular ringfort (diam. 57m N-S; 62.6m E-W) has been levelled but is clearly visible as a raised area defined by a broad, flattened bank (Wth 12-18m; int. H 0.23-0.5m; ext. H 1.08m). Probable entrance in SSW with bank reducing on both sides of entrance feature. Monument upstanding when visited in 1982, it was enclosed by a bank and outer fosse and was classified as a ringfort (Cahill 1982).
