The National Monuments Service's description
In improved pasture, on an E-facing slope. A ringfort (TS062-019----) lies c. 60m to the SW. A circular area (dims. 32m N-S; 30m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (overall Wth 5.1m; Wth at top 1.75m; int. H 0.3; ext. H 1.45m), which is reduced to a scarp (Wth 2.5m; H 1.2m) in the SE quadrant where there is also a gap (Wth 2.5m); a well defined fosse (Wth 3.25m; D 1m), which is U-shaped upslope in the W sector and flat bottomed elsewhere; and an outer bank (overall Wth 4.55m; Wth at top 0.75m; int. H 1.1m; ext. H 0.55m), which is well preserved from SE-W-NE and is levelled out and incorporated into a field boundary from NE-E-SE as depicted on the 2nd (1905) ed. OS 6-inch map. There is a gap (Wth 2.5m) in the outer bank at N and a break (Wth 7m) at NNE-NE. An outer fosse (Wth 2m; D 0.1m) is visible in the NE quadrant and traceable intermittently elsewhere. The concave interior slopes gently to the E.
