The National Monuments Service's description

On an E-facing slope on a roughly E-W orientated ridge, excavated in advance of construction of the N8 Cashel Bypass and N74 Link Road South. Remains of a shallow, circular area (diam. 5.7m) defined by fosse (Wth 0.3m; D 0.08-0.23m) variously V-shaped or steep-sided with a flat base. The upper portion of the monument appears to have been removed as a result of agricultural activity. No evidence of habition or burial, though the latter may have been removed with the upper portion of the monument. (Hughes and O'Flanagan 2003, 11-12, 33). A fulacht fia (TS061-169----) was excavated c. 50m to the E and a number of pits and post-holes (TS061-170----), including one containing Bronze Age pottery, were excavated within an area c. 50 to S and SE.
