The National Monuments Service's description
Lying in the choir of the cathedral (TS061-025003-) on the Rock of Cashel. The tapering slab (L 1.97m; Wth at top 0.69m; Wth at base 0.42m; T 0.07m) is decoratied with a seven-armed segmental cross, carved in relief, with fleur-de-lis terminals (Maher 1997, 73-4). There is a two-barred knop at the top of the cross-shaft and a single-barred knop at the base, which rests on a pillar-base form (ibid.). There is no discernible inscription (ibid.). Fitzgerald (1901-03, vol. 5, 439) describes this as 'An eight-armed cross slab; inscription illegible'.
