In pasture, on a steep ENE-facing slope. Oval area (dims. 21m NE-SW; 25m NW-SE) defined by bank (overall Wth 9.3m; Wth at top 3m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.5m) NE-W and best preserved bank (overall Wth 9m; Wth at top 2m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1.7m) NW-NE; levelled W-NW. Entrance gap (Wth 6m) at ESE with evidence of a causeway. Fosse (overall Wth 6.9-7.45m; basal Wth 1.5-1.85m; D 0.15-0.5m) NW-E and SE-WNW. Outer bank (overall Wth 3.5-5.9m; Wth at top 1-2m; int. H 0.15-0.5m; ext. H 0.2m) N-E and SE-NW; levelled (L 4m) at S. Outer bank continues from NW in a linear formation (long axis NNW-SSE) that snakes to NNW; Levelled (L 4m) at S. Interior has an ENE-facing slope. Circular depression (dims. 6m N-S; 5.8m E-W) is c. 4m to ESE of monument. Quarrying activities in antiquity and natural rock outcropping are evident in surrounding field.
