The National Monuments Service's description
In improved pasture, on a gentle E-facing slope. Oval area (map dims. c. 23m N-S; 22m E-W) defined by bank (overall Wth 4.4m; Wth at top 1.2m; int. H 0.45m; ext. H 0.8m) where seen SSW-W and reduced to scarp (Wth 2m; H 0.2m) at NW and scarp (Wth 1m; H 0.45m) at E. Obscured elsewhere by dense vegetation. Fosse (overall Wth 6.1m; basal Wth 2m; D 0.15m) is best defined at SW and obscured by vegetation E-SE. Interior is inaccessible. Field boundary (long axis N-S) truncating E-arc of monument on latest edition OS 6-inch map has been removed.
