The National Monuments Service's description

In improved pasture, on a broad natural ridge (long axis N-S). Good views in all directions and Rock of Cashel is visible to SE. Circular area (dims. 32m E-W; 31m N-S) defined by bank (overall Wth 6.25m; Wth at top 2m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 1.2m) which is reduced to scarp (Wth 3.1m; H 0.8m) ENE-SE and WSW-W. Gap (Wth 6m) at N. Fosse (overall Wth 6.1m; basal Wth 2.75m; D 0.15m) traceable SE-SW and NW-NE. Interior is generally level. Ringfort (TS060-028----) 62m to SSW.
