In improved, gently undulating pasture, on a W-facing slope. Semi-circular area (dims. 18m N-S; 11m E-W) defined by scarp (Wth 6m; H 0.5m) S-N. Low profile fosse (overall Wth 11m; basal Wth 3m; D 0.05m) NNW-N. Depicted as circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) on first edition OS 6-inch map.
