The National Monuments Service's description

In lush pasture, on a low rise, with land falling gently to E toward stream. Monument identified during ASI fieldwork. An upright limestone standing stone (H 1.05m), rectangular in plan (T max. 0.23m; L max. 0.3m) with its long-axis N-S. The E elevation is convex and the S, W and N elevations are vertical. The ground around the base has been eroded by cattle whilst using the stone as a scratching post. The top of the stone tapers toward the apex. A field boundary to the S (long-axis WNW-ESE) has been removed.
