The National Monuments Service's description

In poorly drained, undulating pasture, on a low ridge overlooking a stream to the E. A circular area (dims. 21m N-S; 20m E-W) defined by scarp (Wth 1.7-1.75m; H 0.5-0.75m) and an external fosse (Wth 3.35-4.15m; D 0.15-0.25m) from SSE-NE, though it is best defiend SSE-SSW. A linear, man-made channel (Wth 2m; D 0.05-0.2m; long axis ESE-WNW) intercepts the fosse at the SE and SW. There is an entrance (Wth 3.5m) at the ESE where there is a ramp into the level interior.
