The National Monuments Service's description

On top of the level summit of a prominent hill with panoramic views in all directions, abutting the inner SW side of an enclosure (TS058-023002-) containing a multi-period. A second ditch-barrow (TS058-023005-) is located c. 20m to the NW and a ring-barrow (TS058-023006-) is 4m to the W. There is a standing stone (TS058-023004-) on the summit. Another standing stone (TS058-079----) is visible 800m to the NE; a large barrow 1.5km to the WSW and a mound-barrow (TS058-047----) 1.8km to the S. The enclosing elements are in good condition with crisp breaks of slope and little livestock damage. The barrow is, however, becoming engulfed with gorse making access difficult. The ditch-barrow consists of a semi-circular slightly raised area (dims. 3m NW-SE; 1.5m NE-SW) defined by a gently sloping earthen scarped edge (Wth 2.2m; H 0.75m) with an external narrow flat-bottomed fosse (overall Wth 1.55m; Wth at base 0.65 m; D 0.65m). The scarped edge and fosse enclose the ditch barrow W to SE have a consistent strongly sloping profile. From SE to W the monument is defined by the fosse of the larger enclosure (TS058-023002-). The interior is level, dry and mostly overgrown with gorse.
