The National Monuments Service's description
In improved pasture, overlooking a steady S-facing slope, with excellent views SSE-W including Slievenamon to S. A roughly circular area (dims. 14m E-W; 12m N-S) identified on an aerial photograph (ASIAP (361) 32-33, 10/05/2003) as a circular cropmark. It is defined by the remains of a barely traceable fosse (Wth c. 4.2m; D 0.05m) and a gentle rise SSE-WSW may indicate an outer bank. The interior is level.
