The National Monuments Service's description
In coniferous plantation on SE facing slope of poorly drained rising ground in upland region with good views to SE. Moated site (TS055-038----) 300m to NW. Unable to get access to enclosure because it is located inside mature coniferous plantation and no access road was kept open into the monument. Depicted as a circular enclosure on 1840 ed. OS 6-inch map and as a semi-circular earthwork on the 1903 edition OS 6-inch map.
