The National Monuments Service's description
In grassland on a N-facing slope of rising ground in upland region with good views to W, N and E higher ground to S. No surface remains of levelled enclosure and no trace of field boundary which is indicated on latest ed. OS 6-inch map. Enclosure indicated on 1843 ed. OS 6-inch map as a semi-circular enclosure intersected at E by a field boundary running N-S. This field boundary is also indicated on the 1906 ed. OS 6-inch map but has subsequently been removed. Moated site (TS055-026----) 117m to SW.
