The National Monuments Service's description

In grassland on a W-facing slope of rising ground in upland area with good views from S through W to N, higher ground to E. Enclosure possible (TS055-075----) 130m to the SW. Ringfort consists of a circular area (int. diam. 25m N-S; 26m E-W; overall diam. 30m N-S; 32m E-W) enclosed by an earthen bank (top Wth 1.6m; base Wth 2.7m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 1.8-0.5m) now incorporated as a field boundary from W through N to E, elsewhere the bank has been levelled and reduced to a scarp (H 0.2m). No outer fosse or entrance feature visible, interior of site slopes from E to W following natural slope of the ground. Possible well structure consisting of a box like french drain (Wth 0.6m; H 0.5m) incorporated into field boundary to E of ringfort which is depicted on the 1843 ed. OS 6-inch map. External face of bank has been damaged and partially cut away revealing the core of the bank from S to SW only. Small field enclosed by field boundary which runs onto ringfort at SE as depicted on 1903 ed. OS 6-inch map has been levelled and no longer survives, this field boundary appears to have run onto the well structure to the E of the ringfort.
