In grassland, situated on a S-facing slope of rising ground in upland region with good views from E through S to W, higher ground to N. Barely visible partial outline of filled in fosse (approx. Wth 3m; ext. D 0.2m) on N side of levelled enclosure (approx. diam 38m N-S). Outline of fosse visible from NW through N to NE only no visible remains elsewhere. Field boundary running NW-SE which intersected the enclosure on its NE side has been removed and enclosure was probably levelled when field boundary was being removed. Field boundary and upstanding enclosure visible on aerial photograph in 1974 (GSI S. 578/7).
