The National Monuments Service's description
In grassland on hilltop with good views in all directions in upland region. Barely visible outline of a circular area (diam. 43m N-S; 46m E-W) delimited by gorse bushes growing on top of a slight rise (H 0.1m) of ground where once there was a bank. A sketch plan and sections drawn in 1954 shows a roughly circular area (overall diam. 208ft [c. 63m] N-S; 214ft [c. 65m] E-W) defined by a bank and outer fosse, though the outer fosse is not evident from N-E-ESE (OS Field Memorandums). The enclosure was levelled in 1965 (Cahill 1982).
