The National Monuments Service's description
On flat grassland with good views in all directions. No surface remains visible. Described in 1971 as a monument which was barely traceable (Barry 1977, 202). On the 1st (1840) ed. OS 6-inch map the monument is depicted as a partial rectangular enclosure aligned NE-SW (diam. NW-SE 32m; NE-SW c. 35m) defined on all three sides except at N by a bank. It has been classified as possible moated site based on the 1st ed. OS 6-inch map designation.
