The National Monuments Service's description
On top of a low rise of ground in grassland with good views in all directions. Well preserved but overgrown ringfort and interior is inaccessible due to dense cover of thorn bushes. Ringfort consists of a raised circular area (int. diam. approx. 31m N-S) enclosed by a well preserved earth and stone bank (top Wth 0.8-1.5m; base Wth 3.5m; ext. H 2m; int. H 0.4m) and outer fosse ( base Wth 1.3m; top Wth 4m; ext. D 0.2-0.7m) both of which are intersected by a field boundary at W on a N-S axis. No other features visible.
