The National Monuments Service's description
On a E-facing slope of low rise of ground in undulating countryside with good views in all directions, in tillage field. A slightly raised circular area (diam. 25m N-S; 28m E-W) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (top Wth 4m; base Wth 8m; int. H; ext. H 1.5-3m) and outer fosse (base Wth 1.7m; top Wth 5m; ext. D 0.5-1m ) with no clear entrance feature visible. Gaps in bank at SW (Wth 1.4m) and N (Wth 5m) which appear to be recent livestock gaps. Interior slopes slightly from W to E while the external height of the bank is at its greatest on the E side. No other features visible, area of tillage comes right up to edge of outer fosse but ringfort in maintained in rough grassland. Some evidence of dumping of field clearance on top of bank in S quadrant.
