The National Monuments Service's description
On a SW-facing slope of rising grassland in an upland area with good views in all directions. An enclosure (TS048-025----) lies 100m to the SE. Identified as a circular earthwork on an aerial photograph (GSI 1974, S.578/7), this levelled enclosure, located in the corner of field, is not visible at ground level.
