The National Monuments Service's description
On flat grassland in an upland area with good views in all directions, the field to the W is under tillage and that to the S is under grass. A heavily overgrown ringfort making detailed examination impossible due to lack of access into the interior. The monument consists of a raised circular area (approx. diam. 50m N-S; 43m E-W) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (approx. base Wth 6m; ext. H 2-2.5m) and outer fosse (base Wth 1.9m; top Wth 6m ; ext D. 1.5m) which was only accessible in the S sector.
