The National Monuments Service's description
A modern bridge traverses the Black River on the old Cork-Dublin road. There are no visible remains of the 'Bridge of Durragh' as described in the Civil Survey of 1654-6 (Simington 1931, vol. 1, 101) which is possibly at this location.
