The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on an E-facing slope of rising ground in undulating countryside. A ploughed-out site consisting of a spread (dims. 5m x 5m) of fire-cracked stone and charcoal-rich silt discovered during field walking in a ploughed field W of Derryville bog. The site was not excavated. (Stevens 1999, 134)
