The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on the E-facing slope of a low rise of ground with bogland to the N and E. Nearby burnt mounds (TN036-050/014/016) lie 100m and 60m to the E respectively.The site consisted of a large spread of fire-cracked stone and charcoal identified in the section of a 2m wide machine-cut trench. (Stevens 2000, 197)
