The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on shallow sloping ground at the S margin of reclaimed bog with nearby burnt mounds (TN036-050015/016) lie 60m and 100m to the E and W respectively. The site consisted of a large spread of fire-cracked stone and charcoal identified in the section of a 2m wide machine-cut trench. (Stevens 2000, 197).
