Situated on a NE-facing slope in upland terrain, with an old stream course to NW and a field drain and bank immediately to E. A crescent-shaped mound (dims. 16.1m N-S; 10.4m E-W; H 0.76m) with a very wet, marshy area indicating a possible trough in the E sector.
