The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a slight rise of ground in a narrow valley in a mountainous region with a river immediately to the E. A trivallate ringfort consisting of a slightly raised circular area (diam. 30.5m N-S) enclosed by three earth and stone banks with corresponding fosses and causewayed entrance (Wth 5m) at NE. The inner bank (Wth 1.5m; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 1.7m) with corresponding fosse (Wth 2m; D 1m) are best preserved. The second bank (Wth 3m; ext. H 0.7m), and fosse (Wth 2m; D 0.2m) are also well-preserved. The third bank (Wth 2.5m; ext. H 0.5m) is destroyed from S through W to NW. A stream intersects the outer bank and entrance feature at NE.
