The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a S-facing slope of rising ground in an upland area overlooking a stream to the S. A circular area (diam. 30m N-S) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 1.5m; int. H 0.5m) with slight traces of an outer fosse visible from W to N only. The entrance gap (Wth 4m) at S is probably original. A townland boundary which intersected the bank at N has been removed during a land improvement scheme.
