The National Monuments Service's description

Embedded in the E face of a field boundary which runs alongside a small stream running N-S in mountain valley. A large limestone boulder (H 0.8m; Wth 1m; T 0.4m) known locally as a mass-rock (Griffin and Griffin 2000, 41).
