The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on flat pasture with extensive views. A square-shaped area (dims. 31m N-S; 28m E-W) enclosed by an earth and stone bank (Wth 2.2m; int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.6-1.5m) reduced to a scarp at N and a wide flat-bottomed fosse (Wth 2.6-3.5m) which has been further widened at the NE angle. Possible causewayed entrance at centre of poorly preserved N bank.
