The National Monuments Service's description
An oval area (34m E-W; 22.5m N-S) defined NNE-SE by a stony scarp (H 1m) that coincides with a break of slope, and elsewhere by a barely discernible stony rim (Wth c. 1m). A possible entrance (Wth c. 2m) is at W. The interior is level but the surface is uneven due to concentrations of stones, some of which are rectangular and may mark graves. There are no visible remains of the associated church (SL046-038001-). There is a possible souterrain (SL046-038003-) in the SW quadrant.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Sligo' compiled by Ursula Egan, Elizabeth Byrne, Mary Sleeman with Sheila Ronan and Connie Murphy (Dublin Stationery Office, 2005).
