The National Monuments Service's description
Listed in both the SMR (1989) and the RMP (1995) and classified 'Sweathouse'. Near a stream, c. 500m N of Lough Skean and built against a rock outcrop. A rectangular chamber (Wth 0.5m; H 0.9m) with drystone walls and a corbelled roof covered by a rocky mound (1.5m x 2.9m; H 1.9m). There is a partially blocked lintelled doorway on the N side. The sweathouse is covered with overgrowth. It is likely to be post-1700 AD in date.
