The National Monuments Service's description

Not included in the SMR (1989) but listed in the RMP (1995) and classified 'Lime Kiln. Built into an E-facing slope. A rectangular stone-built structure (L 5m; Wth 4.1m; H 3m; wall T 2.15m). It has an E-facing blocked-up opening (Wth 1m; H 1.4m; D 1.9m). and a buttress on its S side. There is a stone quarry upslope from the kiln. It is likely to be post-1700 AD in date.
