The National Monuments Service's description
Not included in the SMR (1989) but listed in the RMP (1995) and classified 'Cultivation Ridges'. Two fields of ridge and furrow cultivation to the NE of a cashel (SL040-216001-) and on a NNW-facing slope. Field 1 (L 34.6m; Wth 25m) contains seven ridges (Wth 1.8m). The furrows are 80cm in width. The field is enclosed by an earthen bank (T 2m; H 0.6m) with an external fosse/drain (Wth 2.5m). Field 2 (L 47m; Wth 21m) contains 6-7 ridges (Wth 4.3m) and is also enclosed by a bank and a fosse/drain. It is likely to be post-1700 AD in date.
