The National Monuments Service's description
Listed in the SMR (1989) and classified as 'Enclosure Possible'. Depicted on the 1838 edition of the OS 6-inch map as a circular enclosure. Upon inspection in 1993 no remains of an enclosure was identified. A re-examination of the 1838 map suggests that what is indicated here is a sand-pit or quarry.
