The National Monuments Service's description
In boggy pasture, on the top of a drumlin. A raised circular area (int. diam. 24m x 22m) enclosed by an eroded earthen bank (Wth 2.3m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1.25m), an external fosse (Wth 3.4m) and a counterscarp bank (Wth 0.6m; int. H 0.7m; ext. H 0.3m). The entrance (Wth 3.3m) is at E with a causeway (Wth 4.5m) across the fosse. There is a berm (Wth 2.4m) between the fosse and the counterscarp bank along the N arc. The interior rises towards the centre. The fosse and part of the interior at NW have been quarried into.
