The National Monuments Service's description
On a grassy terrace, on the steep E-facing slope of Kesh Corann. A barely perceptible circular area (6m N-S; 6m E-W) defined by a slight rim (Wth c. 2m; H 0.4m). The interior appears slightly sunken as the hut site is cut into the rising ground on the W side. A rath (SL040-004----) lies c. 50m to E at the base of the slope.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Sligo' compiled by Ursula Egan, Elizabeth Byrne, Mary Sleeman with Sheila Ronan and Connie Murphy (Dublin Stationery Office, 2005).
