The National Monuments Service's description

This is the present location of one (SL040-140010-) of three cross-inscribed slabs associated with the leacht cuimhne (SL040-140003-) in the SW quadrant of Toomour graveyard (SL040-140004-). This cross-inscribed slab (H 0.66m; Wth 0.28m; T 0.1m) was incorporated into the W face of the leacht cuimhne. The top right-hand corner of the stone had been broken off in antiquity. A single continuous line (Wth 2cm; D 0.8cm) forms the outline of a Latin cross which occupies the top two thirds of the stone and extends onto the top and right and left sides of the stone. Below the base of the cross are two further lines, that on the right hand side is straight and that on the left side forms a U shape. The leacht collapsed prior to 1989 and the slab was removed as it had cracked. The slab has been repaired and is now in temporary storage (pers. comm. M. A. Timoney).
