The National Monuments Service's description

In the field between Foyoges graveyard (SL035-067002-) and the road to E and c. 30m NE of the graveyard. A large tree is surrounded by a stone bench on top of which are two rounded stones and a portion of a third, probably praying stones; a coin found under one of the stones in 2003 indicates that these stones are still venerated (pers. comm. M. B. Timoney). A bishop's grave (SL035-067004-) is indicated on the 1914 OS 6-inch map at this location though there are no remains of any grave now evident.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Sligo' compiled by Ursula Egan, Elizabeth Byrne, Mary Sleeman with Sheila Ronan and Connie Murphy (Dublin Stationery Office, 2005).
