The National Monuments Service's description
Not listed in either the SMR (1989) or RMP (1995). Not marked on any edition of the OS 6-inch map. In upland pasture, on the lower S-facing slopes of the Ox Mountains and on the W side of a stream. Upstanding remains comprise the ruins of a small, circular roofless stone-built structure (int. diam. 1.4m E-W; 1.3m N-S) built into a natural scarp. The interior is defined S-N, where it is built into the slope, by a stone-faced scarp (H 1.2m) and N-S by a drystone wall (T 0.7m; H 0.55m). There is a low lintelled opening (Wth 0.6m; H 0.4m) at E. This is probably post-1700 AD in date.
